This Month’s Events

Cochise Winter Seminar

7 Feb 2015 – 9 AM – 12 Noon – Grace Presbyterian Church:

Why the Earth Is Young!
Presents the Scriptural information regarding the meaning of the word “day” in Genesis Chapter 1, the significance of the global Genesis Flood regarding the age of the Earth, and the consequences of compromising Scripture in order to accommodate long ages. A brief discussion of the significance of the finding of Carbon-14 in coal and diamonds, the decay of the magnetic field of the planet and the decay of the Human genome concludes the presentation.

You’ve Come a Long Way, Baby! – The transitions in the circulatory system at birth.
This fascinating presentation discusses the physical changes that must occur in the circulatory system for a baby to make the transition from life in the womb to the outside world. Many of the contributing factors that stimulate these changes are also given, demonstrating the irreducible complexity of the mammalian system of giving birth. A medical case history is presented with a surprise ending, and the relevance of all of this to Genesis is demonstrated.

Presented by Joseph Kezele, M.D., President AzOSA, Adjunct Professor of Biology at Arizona Christian University and Grand Canyon University.

Payson – Larry Kisner – Transformed by the Evidence

01/27/2015 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM Payson Public Library

Transformed by the Evidence
Bird designs have inspired the designers of flying machines for over a century. That makes sense – birds can fly and their design shows how it can be possible. But flying creatures have features that show irreducible complexity and thus reveal God’s creative actions. Humans have advanced in robotics, computer simulation, and aviation to produce amazing flying machines also, but they do not even approach God’s design genius on display in birds and bats.

Presented by Larry Kisner, B..S., M..S.. Physics,, D..D.. (Hon), Secretary AzOSA

See fascinating fun facts that fracture the fairy tale of evolution!
Bring the family, see Evidence of Recent Creation!

The Age of the Earth – Hank Geseke
We will explore the age of the earth from both a logical argument and from recent physical evidence, then we will answer the bigger question…why does it matter?

Countering Compromise – John Veredome
“Tolerance” and “compromise” are two popular catchwords nowadays, but when it comes to truths about who we are, why we’re here, and where we’re going, monkey hugging and stardust memories are not the answer.

Be a Reason AzOSA Is Reaching More People!

Folks, AzOSA needs everyone who cares about the Creation-Evolution debate to invite people who do not know what they believe or why they believe to come to the presentations. So many people have not heard the truth, and we need to share it with them. So please be bold and invite folks so that they can benefit from the great speakers we line up. Other simple ways to help?

  • Forward the newsletter and event announcements
  • Ask your pastor or church leader if someone from AzOSA may contact them about hosting an event
  • Buy and read the Answers book or other resources so you’re always ready
