This talk ends with some comments on the current Covid-19 situation and a novel approach to vaccination. \nSPEAKER: Joseph Kezele \nBIO: Joseph Kezele studied the sciences and music at the University of Arizona\, while earning his B.A. in Russian in 1971\, and his M.D. in 1975. He then completed a Pediatric Residency and practiced Emergency Medicine for 25 years in the Phoenix area\, and was a diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine and fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He is now retired from the practice of medicine\, serves as President of the Arizona Origin Science Association\, and is Associate Professor of Biology at Arizona Christian University in Glendale\, teaching Nutrition and Wellness\, Biochemistry\, Pathophysiology\, Organic Chemistry and Creation Science Apologetics. Dr. Kezele is also a Logos Research Associate\, and had the privilege of participating in a dinosaur dig in Montana and excavated a triceratops horn and the triceratops cervical condyle from which intact osteocytes in soft tissue were isolated. \nHe has participated in 24 foreign mission trips\, teaching medicine\, standard evangelism and creation science evangelism in India\, Zambia\, Mexico\, Russia\, Latvia\, Lithuania\, the Ukraine\, Bosnia-Herzegovina\, Armenia and Moldova. SUMMARY:Valuable and Vicious Viruses and a Vaccine
DESCRIPTION:Both evolutionary and biblical models of the origin of viruses are presented\, followed by a brief survey of viral types and their interaction with human cells. Beneficial uses of virus in medical treatment and a few selected viral diseases are discussed. DESCRIPTION:The presence of tissue and biomolecules in dinosaur fossils presents a significant challenge to the assigned date of these fossils.  Can tissue (aggregates of interconnected cells) retain its natural\, flexible characteristics in so-called ancient fossils?  Can cells within this tissue retain their structural integrity and morphology?  Can biomolecules (such as protein and polysaccharides) actually survive 70+ million years inside a fossilized and buried bone?  What natural process would enable this preservation?  The answer to these questions directly challenges the current\, evolutionary biased\, geologic time scale. In turn\, this tissue also challenges accepted ideas of evolutionary change.
