SUMMARY:Apes to Humans - Is a Monkey Your Uncle?
DESCRIPTION:The first part presents the biblical account of human creation by the God of the Bible and then covers the purported ape to human evolutionary tree constructed from fossils\, comparing various anatomical features. Then the evolutionary and actual comparisons of the chimp and human genomes are contrasted\, demonstrating that it is impossible for man to have evolved from apelike ancestors.\n \n\n	Presenter: Joseph Kezele\n\n\n	Joseph Kezele studied the sciences and music at the University of Arizona\, while earning his B.A. in Russian in 1971\, and his M.D. in 1975. He then completed a Pediatric Residency before beginning the practice of Emergency Medicine for 23 years in the Phoenix area\, as a diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine and a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He is now retired from the practice of medicine\, serves as President of the Arizona Origin Science Association\, is Adjunct Professor at Arizona Christian University in Phoenix\, teaching Human Genetics\, Cell and Molecular Biology\, Pathophysiology\, Organic Chemistry  and Creation Science Apologetics. Dr\, Kezele has also been named a Logos Research Associate. He serves as Chairman of Deacons and teaches Creation Science Evangelism at Black Mountain Baptist Church in Cave Creek\, Arizona.. He has participated in over 20 foreign mission trips\, teaching medicine\, standard evangelism and creation science evangelism in India\, Zambia\, Mexico\, Russia\, Latvia\, Lithuania\, the Ukraine\, Bosnia-Herzegovina\, and Armenia. SUMMARY:Speciation and the Ice Age – Having Fun with Dogs
DESCRIPTION:This is a fun talk featuring dogs that first makes the distinction between species and the “biblical kind”. It then reviews what Scripture has to say about Noah’s flood and the animals\, each “according to its kind”. Artificial selection (breeding) and then natural selection are discussed\, explaining how they occur. Then the post flood world\, including the single Ice Age is presented\, with the explanation of how that brought about the environmental pressures to drive speciation. A final contrast is given between the demand of evolution for new information to be added to an initially very small gene pool by random chance events through mutations causing the development of new kinds\, and the biblical concept of starting with a large gene pool\, which is divided by migration and natural selection leading to loss of genetic information to cause change within each kind. Ararat.  More than that\, see what the biblical account actually has to say about the flood and the nature of it.  Secular geologists have come to ridicule the biblical narrative of the flood\, and for good reason:  if true\, then the whole foundation of the evolutionary interpretation of the fossil record\, and the geological evidence for millions or even billions of years\, is overturned.\n\n\n	Presenter: David Larsen\, BA in Biblical Literature & Physics\, MS Div\n\n\n\n	BIO:\n\n\n	David Larsen graduated from Oral Roberts University in 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Literature and a minor in physics. It was during his time there that God began to give him a passion for the truth of Creation\, both on the scientific level and in the Scriptures. It was in 1973 that David first became aware of\, and interested in\, the search for Noah's Ark\, though\, in retrospect\, he realized it was something God had planted deep within him long before this. After matriculating at ORU\, David spent two years as a graduate assistant in the physics department at the University of Arkansas. While there he taught Astronomy labs and was able to present many aspects of the truth of creation to his Astronomy students. Feeling led to attend seminary\, he eventually moved to California and graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary in 1982. Deciding against full-time "ministry\," he began teaching high school math and physics. He continually used his background and his passion for truth to present his students with science evidence in support of creation\, and he began to see some of them led into a relationship with Jesus Christ.
