DESCRIPTION:SUMMARY OF PRESENTATION:  The Grand Canyon exposes nearly one mile of rock layers that are evidence of past events.  The interpretation of these events is based on one’s world view.  Secular geologists have concluded that the deepest rocks found in the Grand Canyon are one to two billion years old and the thick sequence of sedimentary rocks were slowly deposited over hundreds of millions of years. Was the Grand Canon formed millions of years ago as secular scientists teach\, or is there another view?  This lecture presents geologic evidence from the Grand Canyon and more recent geologic events\, such as Mt. DESCRIPTION:You’ve Come a Long Way\, Baby! – The Transition from Prenatal to Postnatal Circulation. \n \n\n	This fascinating presentation discusses the physical changes that must occur in the circulatory system for a baby to make the transition from life in the womb to the outside world. Many of the contributing factors that stimulate these changes are also given\, demonstrating the irreducible complexity of the mammalian system of giving birth. A medical case history is presented with a surprise ending\, and the relevance of all of this to Genesis is demonstrated.\n \n\n	Joseph Kezele studied the sciences and music at the University of Arizona\, while earning his B.A. in Russian in 1971\, and his M.D. in 1975. He then completed a Pediatric Residency before beginning the practice of Emergency Medicine for 23 years in the Phoenix area\, as a diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine and a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He is now retired from the practice of medicine\, serves as President of the Arizona Origin Science Association\, is Adjunct Professor at Arizona Christian University in Phoenix\, teaching Human Genetics\, Cell and Molecular Biology\, Pathophysiology\, Organic Chemistry  and Creation Science Apologetics. Dr\, Kezele has also been named a Logos Research Associate. He serves as Chairman of Deacons and teaches Creation Science Evangelism at Black Mountain Baptist Church in Cave Creek\, Arizona.. He has participated in over 20 foreign mission trips\, teaching medicine\, standard evangelism and creation science evangelism in India\, Zambia\, Mexico\, Russia\, Latvia\, Lithuania\, the Ukraine\, Bosnia-Herzegovina\, and Armenia. DESCRIPTION:Apologetics resources today are vast and readily accessible.  In an evangelistic encounter the challenge is to construct and use arguments efficiently and compellingly.  Consider this scenario:  you offer a Gospel tract to a ‘stranger’ on a street corner and strike up a conversation.  He says\, “No thanks.  Not interested.  I’m an atheist.”  What next?  How can you help him to doubt his worldview in the next two minutes and provoke his interest in the Gospel?  In short\, how can you efficiently use apologetics to enable a transition to a Gospel presentation?  During this seminar\, we’ll equip you with verbal and written tools so you can help the lost skeptic confront the reality he’s missing.\n \n\n	 \n \n\n	Dr. David H. Stone is a former atheist / evolutionist who became a Christian as a young man\, and has engaged in many levels of ministry throughout his Christian life. He holds five academic degrees\, including a Ph.D. in laser physics and an MBA. He enjoyed a 20-year Air Force career in research and development\, and has won the Air Force R&D Award for Advanced Technology.  His work included experimental development of high energy lasers\, lethality testing for High Power Microwave weapons concepts\, and laser remote sensing.  After retiring from the Air Force (as a Lt. Colonel) he enjoyed a second career as an R&D manager for satellite based remote sensing technologies at Lockheed Martin and then as a professor at Michigan Tech University. \n\n\n\n		In ministry\, by the grace of God\, he has served as a Sunday school teacher\, a junior church director\, a bus captain and bus ministry director\, taught evening classes at a rescue mission\, created a training program for street evangelism\, led a house church . . . and should have done far more and wasted far less of his discretionary time through the years. Presently\, he is doing street\, door-to-door\, and campus evangelism in the Phoenix area.

Artificial selection (breeding) and then natural selection and programmed filling are discussed\, explaining how natural selection is believed to happen by evolutionists\, and how genetics demonstrates programmed filling. Then the post flood world\, including the single Ice Age is presented\, with the explanation of how that brought about the environmental pressures to trigger rapid speciation. A final contrast is given between the demand of evolution for new information to be added to an initially very small gene pool by random chance events through mutations causing the development of new kinds\, and the biblical concept of starting with a large gene pool\, which is divided by migration and natural selection leading to loss of genetic information to cause change within each kind.\n \n\n	Presenter: Joseph Kezele

It then reviews what Scripture has to say about Noah’s flood and the animals\, each “according to its kind”. Artificial selection (breeding) and then natural selection and programmed filling are discussed\, explaining how natural selection is believed to happen by evolutionists\, and how genetics demonstrates programmed filling. Then the post flood world\, including the single Ice Age is presented\, with the explanation of how that brought about the environmental pressures to trigger rapid speciation. The second part presents the comparisons of chimp and human DNA by evolutionists and by the actual genetic findings\, demonstrating that evolution from ape to man is simply not possible.\n \n\n	 \n \n\n	Presenter: Joseph Kezele\n \n\n	BIO: Joseph Kezele studied the sciences and music at the University of Arizona\, while earning his B.A. in Russian in 1971\, and his M.D. in 1975. He then completed a Pediatric Residency before beginning the practice of Emergency Medicine for 23 years in the Phoenix area\, as a diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine and a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He is now retired from the practice of medicine\, serves as President of the Arizona Origin Science Association\, is Adjunct Professor at Arizona Christian University in Phoenix\, teaching Human Genetics\, Cell and Molecular Biology\, Pathophysiology\, Organic Chemistry  and Creation Science Apologetics. Dr\, Kezele has also been named a Logos Research Associate. He serves as Chairman of Deacons and teaches Creation Science Evangelism at Black Mountain Baptist Church in Cave Creek\, Arizona.. Mark was the President of the Society for 4 years.\n \n\n	Mark grew up and lived in Venezuela and Puerto Rico for 15 years.  He became a Christian when he was a college senior at the University of Florida.\n \n\n	He has had a lengthy career in microscopy with firms such as Olympus Corporation of America\, Carl Zeiss and Reichert\, Austria across the United States and the Carribbean. In 1984 he founded a microscope company and has been in business for 32 years.\n \n\n	Mark studied parasitology and electron microscopy under Richard Lumsden (Ph.D. Rice and Dean of Tulane University’s graduate program) at the Institute for Creation Research. He was awarded a US patent for an optical inspection device in 1993.\n \n\n	Mark’s teaching career includes positions at The Master’s College\, Azusa Pacific University and California State University.\n \n\n	For five years\, Mark maintained a working electron microscopy laboratory (SEM and TEM) at the Institute for Creation Research in San Diego.  In 2003 he moved his laboratory to the Creation Research Society Van Andel Creation Research Center in AZ.
