SUMMARY:Science Falsely So Called
DESCRIPTION:Evolution is the de facto standard explanation for the world’s description of the origin of the universe and life. We are also told that it is the foundation of all science\, and that Creationist thinking is going to destroy science if not suppressed. Yet\, what has evolutionary thinking really done for science and the advancement of knowledge? This talk will expose many of the harms that have been done to science\, education and the world as a result of evolutionary thinking\, and how science has been hijacked by prideful man to further his immoral agenda and remove the consciousness of God from society.\n\n\n	 \n\n\n	Speaker: Norm Crawford\, B.S. Aerospace Engineering\, University of Southern California\, M.S. Aerospace Engineering/Orbital Mechanics\, University of Southern California. \n \n\n	 \n \n\n	BIO\n	Norm Crawford has been studying and speaking on origin questions for twenty years. He has worked in a practical engineering environment in the areas of thermodynamics and systems modeling since graduating from U.S.C. with  B.S. M.S. Degrees in Engineering. Mr. Crawford is currently a Senior Principal Engineer for a major aerospace company\, and a regular speaker for AzOSA. It is his heart that all would see the "simplicity that is in Christ" (2 Cor 11:3) and devote ourselves to His Word in all things; especially science.\n \n\n

SUMMARY:What the Fossils Tell Us
DESCRIPTION:Fossils tell us a great deal about geological processes that were at work in the past. They can only be created in catastrophic conditions. Those conditions and their implications will be discussed. In addition\, the lecture will show how the naturalist/evolutionist explanation for fossil formation is falsified by generally accepted geologic knowledge and data.\n \n\n	 \n \n\n	SPEAKER: Guy Forsythe\n \n\n	BIOGRAPHY: Guy was a Technology Education teacher at a high school in Ohio for 30 years. When becoming a Christian at age 29 he immediately started to study the creation-evolution debate and quickly saw that creation is the logical scientific explanation of the universe and everything in it. Upon retiring in 2003\, Guy and his wife Cindy moved to Sedona and God led them to start Crying Rocks Ministry to bring awareness of creation science to Sedona. Guy also works as a Grand Canyon Guide for Canyon Ministries. He recently published a paper on his discovery of parabolic recumbent folds in the Coconino Formation\, in Sedona\, that strengthens the argument that the Coconino Formation was deposited rapidly in water.

SUMMARY:The Geology of Kartchner Caverns and the Whetstone Mountains
DESCRIPTION:Kartchner Caverns is one of Arizona’s geologic wonders. Secular geologists have concluded through evaluation of index fossils that the limestone rocks in which Kartchner Caverns has formed were deposited hundreds of millions of years ago and radioisotope dating has indicated that the cave started forming more than 70\,000 years ago. However\, actual observation at Kartchner Caverns and at other caves show that cave formations such as stalactites and stalagmites do indeed grow rapidly and within the Biblical framework of less than 4\,000 years. This talk shows that the Biblical Record of Noah’s Flood provides the best explanation for the formation of Kartchner Caverns and other caves.\n\n\n	 \n \n\n	Presenter: Jim Clarke\n\n\n	Jim's Bio – ​\n \n\n	Jim Clarke has a BS in Geology and an MS in Hydrological Engineering and is the AzOSA resident geologist.\n \n\n
