Maricopa County Events

August 19 – 7 PM – Phoenix:  The Decay Among Us. Sometimes bad news is good news … and Norm Crawford expands upon this paradox in a wide-ranging discussion about one universal physical truth: everything is decaying. Pessimism on parade? Not at all – Norm, who is a true space scientist, shows how defects and deterioration in the Universe and on Earth actually lead us to clearer understanding of our origins and destiny. Whether observed in the mechanical, geological, astrological, biological, social, political or spiritual spheres of human knowledge, the fact of decay relates directly to both the doctrine of sin and the Second Law of Thermodynamics. Norm unpacks these concepts for us “regular people” – don’t fail to get these essentials.

August 20 – 7:00 PM – Tempe:  The Decay Among Us. Norm Crawford reprises his powerful presentation (see Aug 19 above).  Every theist (Christian and Jew) should get familiar with the scientific and logical connections between the universal fact of material decay and the Biblical doctrine of sin. This information does not typically appear in traditional Bible studies and Sunday sermons – don’t miss this rare opportunity.

Pima County Events

August 15 – 7:00 PM – Tucson: The Decay Among Us. Sometimes bad news is good news … and Norm Crawford launches his discussion of that paradox in a wide-ranging discussion about one universal physical truth: everything is decaying. It turns out that defects and deterioration in the Universe and on Earth actually lead us to clearer understanding of our origins and destiny. Even the limitations of human intellect factor into the equation. In all of the mechanical, geological, astrological, biological, social, political or spiritual spheres of human knowledge, the fact of decay relates directly to both the doctrine of sin and the Second Law of Thermodynamics. Norm unpacks these concepts for us “regular people” – these essentials are “must know” concepts for thinking people.

Cochise County Events

August 18 – 5:00 PM – Sierra Vista: Understanding Origins (Introduction).  “Honestly, what difference does ‘origin science’ really make?” Norm Crawford, an actual space scientist, shows how the subject directly challenges today’s humanistic society that promotes an anti-Biblical view of origins. This worldview exploration contrasts the foundational Christian doctrines with the pervading materialist evolutionist ideology – audiences invariably experience “aha” moments as the competing concepts become clear. Take your first big worldview step, or refresh your knowledge, at this clear, concise presentation!

August 25 – 5:00 PM – Sierra Vista: Overview of Biological Evolution.  Get the basics of evolutionism in one efficient sitting – and then discover the power of the creation science critique.  Methodical and clear in his methods, Norm Crawford knows both sides of the arguments and leads audiences to really understand the issues. No Christian should ever fear evolution theory after receiving this knowledge.

Gila County Events (Payson Location)

August 27 – 7:00 PM – Payson Public Library:  “Live” Lessons from Animals. “Wildly interactive” describes Steve Lachonas’s presentation of several live animals, focusing on both their incredible design and the lessons they teach us about God and his Word. Consider: a Madagascar Hissing cockroach can teach us about bearing burdens. The African Bullfrog, who lies dormant for ten months, comes back to life again and teaches what it means to be devoted. More life lessons come alive for the audience with the lizard, the Hornbill bird, and the Tarantula! (No humans are harmed in this presentation.)

Last Chance Deadlines for the Grand Canyon Tour!

The Grand Canyon uniquely supplies church leaders with distinctly personal connections to origin science concepts revealed in Arizona’s Grand Canyon. And Russ Miller stands tall among effective and entertaining presenters.

It’s easy. Click here to get links for the flyer, and send it to the church leaders by email, fax or letter. Help also by donating to support the church leader trip – it’s an investment in origin science like no other. Take the five minutes now to sign up, sponsor a pastor, and invite church leaders. See online videos about the trip subject matter. You can visit Russ Miller’s website for additional details. Email David McNabb for questions or assistance for either bus trip.

Gila Division Launched with Enthusiasm on June 25

Seventy people attended the inaugural AzOSA Gila Division meeting on June 25 that featured Dr. Kezele’s presentation on dinosaurs. Thanks to hard work by Michael Calcagno, the Gila Division Vice-President, and God’s blessings, the turnout of adults and children was standing room only. Lively discussion followed the presentation, new members joined AzOSA, and attendees purchase lots of origin science materials as well.  This gratifying response means Gila Division is scheduling monthly meetings up through March 2014 and likely beyond.
