Summary:
This talk focuses on the Creator and His greatness and glory. The hope is to encourage fellow believers to not “lose our perspective” and cater to despair,
disappointment, and depression in these dark times—Jesus is on the Throne and in control; our God is beyond comparison and His power is infinite. The book of Isaiah is known as “the Bible in miniature,” and Isaiah 40 is the pivotal chapter that separates Old Testament thought from the last half of Isaiah that emphasizes New Testament thought. Isaiah 40 points the reader to the fact that our God is all-powerful in EVERY situation of life. He has the ability to care for the minutest details of our lives.
