ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. SPECIAL THANK YOU:  DaMaris Voyles has taken on the task of managing the AzOSA FACEBOOK page.  Please join us in thanking this 18 year-old young lady for accepting the daunting challenge of growing AzOSA’s FACEBOOK presence!

  1. TWITTER, SNAPCHAT & INSTAGRAM :  Along that line we are looking for more young people to set up and manage accounts for these popular means of communication.  Please contact Larry Kisner, the AzOSA Secretary, at kisnerls@gmail.com to volunteer.

  1. WASTELANDS:  See Richard Stevens’ The Vast Wastelands of Unbelief  which actually offers a collection of concisely stated insights into a number of selected issues arising from the ongoing “new atheist” critiques of Christianity and of belief in God generally.  http://www.azosa.com/azosa-october-2016-book-review/

  1. AzOSA DVD’s FOR CHRISTMAS:  Don’t forget to purchase your Christmas gift DVD’s and books at the November AzOSA meetings.  First AzOSA produced DVD is $13 and there is no limit on additional ones at $5 each.  There is no limit on AIG and CMI DVD’s which are normally $13 and now at $8 each.  Note that Darwin’s Voyage is not part of this special sale.

  1. GEOLOGIC CREATION RESEARCH OPPORTUNITY:   RARE OPPORTUNITY!  Want to spend a day exploring God's creation, learning about geology, and participating in creationist research?   Join us for a series of field trips in Southeastern Arizona to sample a variety granitic stocks for use in a radiohalo survey.   The trips will be a full day each, held on Saturdays, and will involve off-highway travel and some hiking – to be led by Creation Research Society and AzOSA geologists. All skill levels welcome. The first trip will be to the Santa Rita and Sierrita mountains south of Tucson.  Please contact Larry Kisner at 480-332-7152, or < biblicalphysics@gmail.com > to sign-up for the trip(s).

  1. BOOKMASTER STILL NEEDED FOR EAST VALLEY:  We still need a new Book Master for the East Valley – Jordan Renouard, the West Valley Book Master, has been handling both sides, and would appreciate someone stepping forward. Generally this person would keep track of the books, DVD’s, etc. in the East Valley inventory and when possible help sell them at the presentations.  This is not a difficult job, mainly keeping track of the items to sell and ordering more when stock is low.  For details you can communicate with Jordan (505-463-1378) or Vern Hartz (520-626-3357 or 520-721-8278). BOOKMASTER NEEDED FOR COCHISE DIVISION:  Otto Richter has requested a volunteer for a bookmaster and to help with the Cochise Division events.  Volunteers to help with the events, even if you are not able to be a bookmaster, would also be welcomed!  Call Otto at 520-236-5081.
