AZOSA Supports Author Michael J. Oard’s New Book:

THE DEEP TIME DECEPTION

Deep Time has worked its way deep into our culture. It’s all through our education system and scientific literature. It’s in the news, on signs, in our entertainment—it’s everywhere!

But it’s deeply deceptive. The ‘scientific facts’ don’t actually favor deep time (over ‘young age’). In many cases, they contradict it outright!

And its implications run deep. The question of age is not merely academic—lacking practical relevance. Rather, the implications affect one’s entire view of the world! In his excellent new book The Deep Time Deception, author Michael Oard examines the case for millions of years—and finds it wanting.

This is the perfect book for the average, science-interested Christian on the age of the earth.

Dinosaur Soft Tissue – Still There

September 24 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Payson Public Library, 328 N Mc Lane Road
Payson, AZ 85541

For nearly 15 years the evolutionist community has been scrambling to explain how biological material, such as proteins, has survived in dinosaur fossils. There is no biochemical evidence to suggest that any type of biomaterial could survive for even just a few million years; far short of the 68+ million-year-age age assigned to these fossils. Evolutionist’s explanations reveals a desperation within the evolution community to account for this so-called “ancient” material. In contrast, a biblical creation model readily explains why the tissue was preserved and why we expect to continue to find tissue in a variety of fossils.

Live Lessons from the Bible and Biology

October 21 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Arizona Christian University, 1 W Firestorm Way
Glendale, AZ 85306

Combining God’s living Word with God’s living Creation, Steve will start his presentation with several live animals, focusing on both their incredible design and the lessons they teach us about God and his Word. These themes look at how a Madagascar Hissing cockroach can teach us about bearing a burden, based on real life technology being used by scientists. About an African Bullfrog, that lies dormant for ten months, only to come to life once again and teach us what it means to be devoted. Can a lizard have no legs and still teach us about change? Or a Hornbill bird exhort us to watch over others?

And what can a watching a Tarantula shed teach us about Salvation? After these animals and the themes that accompany them are answered, this wildly interactive presentation ends with a summary of how important it is to see how God’s creation & Genesis, ultimately points us to our Creator Jesus, His Gospel and the rest of Scripture.
