“At AzOSA Events I Always Learn Something New,” Says Former Agnostic

Take it from a former skeptic, doubter, and mocker of religion. Almost everyone will learn something from an AzOSA presentation that edifies, excites, confirms, or uplifts. Videorecord that sports event or favorite TV show that one night and attend. You won’t regret it.

Pick an Event – Broaden Your Knowledge – Deepen Your Faith

October 3 – Tucson: Understanding Evolution II – Overview of Biological Evolution (Series). Clear, compact, and immediately useful. That’s Norm Crawford’s presentation style on display as he explains the fundamentals of evolution theory and its limitations. A key limitation is the theory’s inability to explain the advent of information or its increase. Scripture’s biological model better fits the facts. Norm Crawford may be truly a rocket scientist by profession, but his presentations are accessible to teens and adults. Click on AzOSA Events Calendar for details.

October 5 – Cave Creek: Genesis Through Creation Eyes V (Series) (Gen. Ch. 9 & 11). Even first-time attendees will gain crucial understanding in this multi-media approach to these essential Bible chapters from the creation science perspective. Questions and discussion are welcomed! AZOSA President and ACU Biology Prof. Joseph Kezele, M.D. unites Bible and scientific knowledge with a passion for truth. Click on AzOSA Events Calendar for details.

October 10 – Maricopa (Town): Understanding Evolution V – The Flood, Fossils and Earth History. Honestly, is there any reason to believe the Genesis Flood took place? Could Noah’s Ark actually hold all those animals? Weren’t early humans just slightly smarter apes anyway? Norm Crawford delivers the scientific evidence that everyone needs to answer those inevitable questions from friends and relatives who doubt the Bible. Just in time for the holidays – get strong in your knowledge before family gets together. Click on AzOSA Events Calendar for details.

October 17 – Phoenix: Starlight and Time: A Review. Ever been asked: “How could light from stars and galaxies that are billions of light years away have reached us on a young Earth (6-10,000 years old)?” That’s a good question, and top flight scholars have developed several explanations you can use. Larry Kisner, holding bachelor’s degrees in both math and physics and a master’s degree in physics also, will present five (5) current scientific theories that answer the question in ways that are Creation consistent. Get this cutting-edge information showing that starlight does not defeat the Bible’s account of Creation. Click on AzOSA Events Calendar for details.

October 17 – Tucson: Understanding Evolution III – Design and the Origin of Life III (Series). Evidence of Creation appears physically everywhere, you just have to recognize it. Norm Crawford, M.S., Orbital Mechanics, shows how we discover design and purpose throughout the universe and on Earth. Learn the fundamental facts showing the overwhelming complexity of life and the impossibility of life by accident. Discuss the impact of the Intelligent Design movement while also marveling at examples of incredible animal design in nature that defy evolutionary explanation. Click on AzOSA Events Calendar for details.

October 18 – Tempe: Galaxies and Stars. We’ve all admired the beauty of the night sky. Secular astronomers claim that everything we see in it formed all by itself in a Big Bang event billions of years ago, with no Creator being involved. But the secular model fails to explain the Universe. It cannot explain the existence of the heavenly bodies – the billions of stars and galaxies we see in space. Through beautiful photographs and videos from NASA and other sources, you’ll discover: (a) how stars defy the secular model just by existing; (b) the failure of the secular model to explain galaxies and other large-scale structures; and (c) how the Universe is consistent with the Creation model. Our speaker, Mr. Spike Psarris, an electrical engineer with graduate studies in physics, moved from atheist to creationist to Christian as he saw the evidence of design and the historical validity of the Bible. North to Prescott – Three Great Talks on November 5 – Spread the Word

Use the power of e-mail to tell everyone you know in Yavapai County that AzOSA is coming to town again on Saturday, November 5, 2011. Three of our best presentations will be given at Willow Hills Baptist Church, starting at 9 a.m. Calendar the date and come receive this vital information conveniently in Prescott.

► The Future of Mankind, Sal Giardina, B.S., Mechanical Engineering, M.S., Geology, delivers a message you may have never heard before in any secular or religious venue. Compare the predictions of evolution against the Christian worldview – and come away with life-changing convictions.

► Only One Race, Sandy Flint, B.S., Biology, engages both the Biblical and the scientific viewpoints to ask: is humanity divided by race? Does non-Biblical thinking lead to racial harmony or to racial conflict? A timeless message for all people of good will.

► Vestigial Organs – Are these “Leftovers” For Real? So asks Joseph Kezele, M.D., in his presentation focusing on organs and structures in the human body that were labeled as “useless” leftovers of evolution, but were later shown to have definite functions within the body’s overall design. Check out photos and drawings of tonsils, the appendix, plantaris muscle, goose bumps, the male brain and twelve other examples of useless organs … and learn what they actually do. (Well, maybe the male brain remains questionable 🙂
